Lookbook muse- Andy

Hey, I introduce you to Andy, another LbM (lookbook muse).

1) Tell us little bit about yourself: name, age, location, occupation...

-Hi Everyone! My name is Andrea but everyone knows me as Andy from Stylescrapbook.com & Lookbook, I am a 24 year old Mexican Designer, stylist & Blogger who lives in Amsterdam.

2) I know you are originally from Mexico, so why did you move to Netheralds?

-My boyfriend lives here

3) How would you describe your style?

-Well, my style changes slightly from season to season, I can be very girly sometimes but there is a part of me that likes the Rocker chic " a la BALMAIN" style, in general, I can do anything, from girly, to rocker and everything in between, it just depends on my mood and the weather!

4) Do you have any fashion idol? Or whose style do you hate/don´t like so much?

-Well, not really an idol, but I do
admire Miroslava Duma´s style, Alexa Chung´s & Emanuelle Alt and few others.

5) Where do you take an inspiration from?

-EVERYWHERE!, from catwalks, to street style, to bloggers, the inspiration is everywhere!

6) Do you have any favourite decade of fashion style?

-I love the 20´s & the 80´s

7) What piece of clothing do you think is timeless and which "trend" should never be trendy again?

-A blazer is definitely timeless and what should never happen again are the overalls, I hate them!

8) You would never ever wear...?

-CROCS!!!!!!!!!!!!

9) Any favourite places to shop?

-I love ZARA for their designer replicas, Urban Outfitters, TOPSHOP, Vintage stores, etc.

10) I saw couple of you DIYs on your blog so, what mainly inspires you?

-Sometimes trends, sometimes they are just ideas that come to me all of a sudden, it really depends.




11) What are your hobbies?

-Blogging, shopping, exercising, watching movies, DIY´ing, music :)


12) Share with us your opinion about Dutch street style? Do you think it´s good or bad?

-It really depends where you are, Amsterdam´s street style is quite cool, you see quite few interesting styles walking around, but outside of Amsterdam, I'm not sure really.

13) If you had a chance to meet somebody famous, who would you pick and why?

Christophe Decarnin, because he inspires me in so many ways, he is a genius and knows exactly what we want.

His collection for Spring/Summer 09 is going to be my favourite for many, many years.
